NZlocums prize draw winner

Otago University medical student Alex McKenna was the lucky winner of New Zealand Rural General Practice Network’s prize draw hamper at the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners recent Dunedin conference.  

Held over the weekend of July 28 – 30, the Network was represented at the event by Deputy CEO Linda Reynolds, NZLocums Relationship Manager/Project Coordinator Saloni Pandey, Chairperson Sharon Hansen and Deputy Chair Dr David Wilson who were amongst 500 general practitioners, health professionals and managers from around New Zealand attending the conference.

Network committee member and rural hospital doctor James Reid was awarded the first ever Distinguished Fellowship of the Division of Rural Hospital Medicine at the conference.  Dr Garry Nixon was presented with the Eric Elder Memorial Award for his contribution to rural medicine.
