Jacinta joined NZLocums in 2012 bringing with her a wealth of recruitment experience gained from previous corporate, global organisations. Responsible for the management of the NZLocums team, Jacinta continuously demonstrates strong organisational and leadership skills enabling her to guide the team with an open, honest and friendly communication style. Jacinta prides herself on helping medical practices throughout New Zealand and has a passion for working with a variety of people and cultures. She has also travelled extensively and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science – Psychology and a Diploma in Organisational Psychology.
Senior Relationship Manager
Jenny joined NZLocums in 2017 bringing skills gained from working in international recruitment, as well as assessment and continuing professional development of overseas doctors. She takes pride in providing high level assistance to candidates and clients and aims to provide a friendly professionalism that instils confidence in both. Jenny enjoys travelling and in her spare time, enjoys exploring the parks and walkways around New Zealand and being an avid runner, she has run on many scenic tracks.
Christy joined NZLocums in 2019 bringing with her extensive experience in case management, most recently from within the mental health area. Christy values communication and has pride in the way she communicates, using this strength to build effective relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. The USA is Christy’s favourite place to visit and she has spent a lot of time travelling there, specifically in states that are the home to country music. Other than travelling, Christy likes to lend her time to volunteer with different charities that support the youth of NZ.
Angie has extensive experience within the recruitment industry including team leadership and project management. She has strong people skills and organisational abilities, ensuring smooth and efficient running of recruitment projects. Angie prides herself on her ability to form genuine and trusting relationships with both candidates and clients. Angie came to New Zealand from South Africa in 2015 with her young daughter and outside of work you will usually find them at the beach or spending weekends away exploring beautiful New Zealand.
Senior Relationship Manager - Urban
Luke has a wealth of experience in medical recruitment, staff and business management beginning well over a decade ago at the Medical Council of New Zealand where he gained an in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand registration process and systems. Luke has since worked extensively in both Australia and New Zealand as a medical recruitment consultant. He values open and friendly communication to build effective relationships, sets high standards for himself and strives to deliver the best possible service. Luke spends most of his free time ferrying his children to their many events and enjoying outdoor activities.
Administration Support Officer
Melissa brings a variety of national and international recruitment experience to the NZLocums Team. She has travelled extensively throughout Europe appreciating many different cultural experiences. While volunteering on farms and teaching English she also recruited remotely for a London based recruitment organisation. Melissa enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life and prides herself on her personable yet professional approach. Outside of the office Melissa writes and performs folk music and enjoys spending time with her family.
Jason comes from a background in recruitment and medical/health administration. He holds a Bachelor in Commerce and Administration specialising in Management and Marketing. He enjoys travelling, having visited countries in the UK, Asia, Americas and Australasia. Jason joined the team in 2015.
Ayumi Sakakibara – currently on maternity leave
Programme and Events Coordinator
Ayumi comes from a background in administration and event management. Prior to joining NZLocums, Ayumi coordinated professional development training and national conferences in the social services sector. Ayumi enjoys new challenges and her friendly yet calm approach is an asset for the team. Outside of the office, Ayumi is busy learning new languages, organising social events for a Japanese community in Wellington and exploring New Zealand’s bush and mountains.
