Another successful Orientation course was held in our Wellington offices from March 5-7, with the majority of attendees being GP couples. Drs Rehana and Gavin Wilson were looking forward to spending the next six months in Whangamata, while Drs Salahuddin Malik and his wife Sue Whyte were heading to Turangi. Dr Mirte Verkooijen will be joining her GP husband, in Taumaraunui, who started a couple of months earlier.
Dr Flip Van de Plas was eager to start at his placement in Wakatipu and Dr Sim Hui Kok in Palmerston North.

Bring on the doctors!
At our January 29-31 Orientation course, five doctors were placed in practices in Dannevirke, Whitianga, Greymouth, Waihi and Waiheke Island.

The three-day Orientation course held in Wellington provides overseas GPs with a comprehensive introduction to the New Zealand health system covering topics such as Medtech32, Pharmac and ACC.
