NZLocums orientation on January 8 was a great start to 2018 with 10 international GPs arriving from the UK, USA, Sweden, New Caledonia, Germany and The Netherlands. The orientation was a great opportunity to connect with other GPs and at the same time get to know what it is like to be a GP in New Zealand. They were all excited about the various rural practices they would working in across New Zealand.
Dr Sebastiaan Stapert will work in Opotiki, Dr Olof Rydin in Matamata, Dr Anouk Balster in Waikanae, Dr Meghan Hughes in Oamaru, Dr Claudia Mosavi in Gore, Dr Mike Carey in Waimate, Dr Philip Lingard in Dannevirke, Dr Patrick Mckenna in Opunake, Dr Amy Kreykesis in Te Kauwhata and Dr Mauri Smits in Huapai.
