Role
We are seeking a General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) who would be willing to work 6 or more sessions (3 days) per week.
The ideal candidate would have sound clinical skills in General Practice, be a great communicator and hold appropriate registration with the Medical Council of NZ and be eligible to work in NZ.

Practice
We are a progressive and innovative teaching practice with a dedicated team of GPs, a nurse practitioner, skilled practice nurses, Health Care Assistants and an efficient client services team. We are a rural practice open from 8am to 6pm, have a pharmacy onsite and host a number of visiting specialists/other clinicians.
Location
Alexandra is a thriving service centre, with a population of over 5,000, catering to the needs of a prosperous orchard and sheep farming district. There are two local pre-schools, three local primary schools and one local high school in the area. Alexandra has a growing population, with a younger demographic developing who enjoy the recreational lifestyle of the region. It is an affordable area to live and invest in property. The spectacular scenery of the riverside location and the proximity to the lakes and ski fields of the Southern Alps make Alexandra the ideal place to call home.
