Role
Join a supportive team of doctors, nurses and support staff offering high quality, friendly and professional healthcare service. This group practice is looking for a GP for 8 sessions a week. You will see a variety of age groups from newborn babies to elderly patients living in residential care facilities.
The practice is open from 8:30am, Monday to Friday with patients seen on 15 minute appointments.
Occasional on-call is shared between all the town’s practices, requiring approximately one weekend day every 6 weeks. Should a new GP wish to pursue an area of sub-specialisation the practice is happy to support this.

Ashburton is a large town located a short drive from Christchurch and is situated in the heart of the Canterbury Plains.
