Role
We have an amazing opportunity at a group practice located in Waikato. We are keen to hear from General Practitioners (GPs) interested in working between 6-8 sessions per week. Ideally the practice is looking for a GP with an interest in women’s health. They would prefer a New Zealand based GP but will consider applicants from overseas.
Practice
The medical centre is a hardworking, multidisciplinary team that all work together to meet the values of respect, honesty, quality, teamwork, and equity. They are open to innovation and trialling new initiatives. The medical centre is multi-functional incorporating Pathology, Pharmacy and Medical Imaging services. The medical centre is Cornerstone Accredited with the RNZCGP and regularly trains GP registrars. There are eight general practitioners who are well supported by a team of nurses, an MCA team, clinical pharmacist and administration staff. The practice uses Indici.
Location
Just south of Auckland lies the Waikato region; a land of lush pastures that was chosen to play The Shire in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. Well-known for its underground wonders, black sand surf beaches and rolling green hills, the Waikato region offers a wealth of nature-based activities and attractions surrounding a vibrant city hub.
