Are you team orientated and patient focused? A position has become available with this friendly team for an experienced GP with excellent communication skills. The role has eight sessions per week with on-call (to 9pm) at 1:6 on a rostered basis. Remuneration, relocation assistance, accommodation and professional fees are all negotiable.
Recently renovated, this practice has a happy environment with an experienced and supportive team and is also a GP training practice. Your team will consist of four GPs, eight nurses and administration staff. The practice has 13 consulting rooms, laboratory room, specialist room and is centrally located to a school and shopping centre. There are 8155 registered patients and each GP sees 20 patients per day in 15 minute appointments. The hospital is one block away and there is also a local St John’s Ambulance Service with paramedic support available.
Gore is the capital of brown trout fishing and country music and services a wide farming community. It has a population of approximately 10,000 and is within close proximity to Dunedin, Invercargill and Queenstown.
