Role
We are working with a practice who is looking for a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner, due to growth in the patient population. We are keen to hear from applicants interested in working between 6-10 sessions per week. Ideally the practice is looking for a GP who holds vocational scope of practice with the MCNZ or an experienced NP. However, they are open to considering all suitably qualified applicants. Having experience with cryotherapy and minor surgery with be advantageous.
Practice
The medical centre offers the full range of general practice services including rest home visits, although this would not necessarily be part of the new role. The practice has two GPs with support from an experienced nurse and full administration support. The practice is part of a larger organisation that has become one of New Zealand’s leading health care providers. The practice provides a fulfilling and rewarding clinical environment assisting a high needs population. The Patient Management System is Medtech Evolution.
Location
Located within the Hawkes Bay, Hastings enjoys the beautiful weather while being surrounded by countryside, vineyards and beaches. Hawkes Bay has an abundance of outdoor activities with beaches, mountain biking, hiking and golfing. There are many vineyards to visit, which you can combine in cycle tours while enjoying the spectacular vistas!
