Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) for these Permanent or Fixed term positions. There are two roles available, one is 6/10 and the other 8/10 FTE.
We are looking for a GP who attentive, proactive and is able to engage patients in the design of their health plan in a sensitive yet informative way.
Practice
Our Practice is located in the sunny Bay of Plenty encompassed by a predominantly Maori population. With at least 2 GPs, 2 Nurses, a Healthcare Assistant and Medical Administrator on the floor each day, we are able to assist clinical workloads. Our facilities consist of 6 spacious Consult rooms, Administration office, Treatment room and a Minor Surgeries Nurses room. Patients have a spacious waiting room and a friendly reception team to manage daily bookings and patient arrivals. We are complemented by a Pharmacy at the front door and the local Social Services office at the back door.
Location
Kawerau sits in the spectacular Bay of Plenty of New Zealand, conveniently located between the urban destinations of Rotorua and Tauranga. The area is known for its’ fresh air, beautiful beaches, great bush walks and unspoilt New Zealand landscape. Kawerau enjoys a warm and temperate climate all year round, and with beaches, mountains and bush walks nearby, the area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
