A permanent General Practitioner is required in sunny Motueka!  You will be working 4 to 6 sessions per week with On Call 2-3 per month, shared with 5 other GPs.

A female is preferred but the practice will gladly take on a male doctor for the month of May.

Experience in emergency medicine would be desirable (but not essential at this stage) as this practice holds a PRIME contract (Primary Response in Medical Emergencies).

The practice has around 5270 registered patients with a demographic of 8% Maori, 4% Pacific, 2% Asian and the rest European.

If you are personable, flexible, team focussed with a great sense of humour then this is the role for you!


This practice is offering a competitive remuneration package for the successful applicant.  The practice will pay for Medical Council fees and Medical Indemnity costs.

As this practice holds a PRIME contract, training will be given if needed.

This town is home to 7100 people and offers a full range of services including secondary and primary schools.
