Role
We are seeking a locum or permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine) for a semi-rural practice based in Rotorua. The position is for 8 sessions a week (4 days) and the practice will consider locums able to assist for shorter periods.
This cornerstone accredited practice is well-known within the area with a large following of patients. With a strong community focus, the practice has an established commitment to providing quality care to all levels of society.
Location
Rotorua has long been an iconic tourism destination for both New Zealand travellers and international visitors. It is an adventure playground with a great range of activities to enjoy for any age. Rotorua is known for its beautiful lakes, spectacular geothermal attractions, stunning scenery, and its warm and friendly people.
In and around Rotorua you will find 16 lakes for fishing, kayaking and boating, as well as international mountain biking trails, walking trails and airport and excellent schools. It is 40 minutes to the sea, 2 hours to the ski fields and 3 hours to New Zealand’s gateway city of Auckland.
