Role

A short-term General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner is required to join this fantastic team.  If you have good communication, able to relate well to people and will adapt well to a rural environment, then this is the right position for you.

Practice

This rural practice has a wonderful team of six part-time General Practitioners.  The practice will provide short term accommodation if necessary.

This practice is an integrated purpose built facility comprising general practice, acute admission needs, allied health services, midwifery services and visiting specialists. Duties will include general practice consultations as well as daily rotating cover of acute presentations, aged residential care medical support and the management of our five acute beds.

We have a strong and supportive nursing team and together provide a range of services on site including point of care blood test, x-ray and simple fracture management, thrombolysis and IV treatments.

Golden Bay is 90 minutes from Nelson, and lies between Kahurangi and Abel Tasman National Parks.  This thriving farming, holiday, and recreation area has a unique, relaxed atmosphere and vibrant culture.

This region is a popular holiday destination due to its diverse scenery and warm climate. Imagine a region with endless variety, where golden beaches, alpine valleys and tranquil fishing rivers share a close proximity with the sea.
