Role
We have a permanent role available in New Zealand’s tourist mecca – Taupo. We are looking for someone new to join our nine-doctor practice and great team of health and administration professionals. What makes this particularly attractive is the opportunity to become a financial partner in the company. Recruitment and retention packages are negotiable.
Practice
This is a thriving, well-supported, modern “Health Care Home” practice with an excellent and welcoming work environment. We offer an attractive afterhours roster, shared between Taupō’s three medical practices, as well as regular CME and peer support.
The clinic is situated just five minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and shares its premises with a pharmacy, an x-ray and laboratory service located in the neighbouring building.
The practice has a registered patient base of approximately 15 000, they see a large number of casual patients, especially over the summer months.
Location
Taupo is a scenic resort town of around 25 000 people and is situated on the shores of Lake Taupo, New Zealand’s largest lake. It’s a great spot for trout fishing, walking, tramping, hunting, boating, swimming and dozens of other water sports – a must visit for anyone with a love of the outdoors. Due to its central North Island location it’s an easy drive to many other New Zealand attractions, such as Rotorua, Mount Ruapehu, Tongariro National Park, Napier/Hastings district and Waitomo Caves.
