Role
We have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic GP to join a practice in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. As an experienced General Practitioner, ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses, GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.
Practice
The medical centre is a small practice located in Tauranga, with 3 other doctors and a nurse practitioner providing GP services. The practice uses Medtech 32 and is cornerstone accredited.
Location
The practice is in Tauranga, a vibrant city of approximately 125,000 people located in the coastal Bay of Plenty on the East coast of the North Island. Tauranga is the main centre of the region and is one of the fastest growing cities in the country.
Bay of Plenty is one of New Zealand’s top holiday destinations for Kiwi’s and international travellers alike. Sunniest region on the North Island, the Bay of Plenty is a great year-round destination.
The region boasts internationally renowned deep sea fishing waters and is popular with windsurfers, jet skiers, and those who love water activities. Scuba diving is also enjoyed by many with wrecks, reefs and volcanic islands to explore underwater. The Strand waterfront area features children’s play areas, cultural artwork and has several cafes, restaurants and pubs, plus a vibrant nightlife.
