Role
We are a friendly practice requiring a locum General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician). The role has 9 sessions (4.5 days) per week with no on-call.
Location
Tītahi Bay a suburb of Porirua in the North Island, lies at the foot of a short peninsula on the west coast of the Porirua Harbour, to the north of Porirua city centre. Titahi Bay is only 25 minutes drive from the capital city of New Zealand – Wellington.
The region has an estimated population of 6,870, with an ethnic diversity of 67.5% European/Pākehā 36.1% Māori, 19.6% Pacific peoples, 8.0% Asian, and 2.8% other.
Surfing is a popular activity at Titahi Bay. The beach break that can be surfed on all tides and during periods of onshore winds.
The region has a co-educational state Primary school for Year 1 to 6 students and a co-educational state Intermediate school for Year 7 to 8 students.
