There is a strong commitment to working with their community and reducing barriers to health care. The team has a multi-disciplinary approach to health care, with GPs and nurses work alongside community health workers, physiotherapist, psychiatrist, a dietitian and counsellor.
The practice is community owned and employs eight GPs across two practices (who each work three or four days per week), six nurses and a full time practice manager. Six of the GPs have been at the practice for over seven years and are able to provide excellent support and supervision for new GPs. They are seeking a new permanent GP who is passionate and committed to providing excellent health care to the community.
Office hours are 9.00am to 6.00pm (the clinic closes at 5.00pm). GPs see patients in 15 minute appointments, and 30% of their time is allocated to administration.
