Role
We have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic GP to join a practice in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. As an experienced General Practitioner, ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses, GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.
Practice
The medical centre is a well-established practice in a centrally located purpose-built clinic, with modern and attractive facilities. There are seven general practitioners and a dedicated team of practice nurses, supported by a range of visiting specialists. Located next door to the practice are a range of other medical services, including radiology, audiology, counselling, laboratory, and a pharmacy, providing easy access to a range of investigations and treatments. The practice provides quality individual and family health care, with a focus on the importance of a strong relationship between patient and healthcare provider.
Location
The practice is located in Whakatane, one of New Zealand’s most stunning coastlines. There are great restaurants and cafes, and a thriving arts and culture scene. The whole family will enjoy life in this gorgeous spot – a wonderful place for kids to grow up! The opportunities for an outdoors lifestyle and adventure sports are endless, with kayaking, surfing, hiking, golf, fishing and mountain biking on offer.
